Remember that these are just guidelines - you might have to adjust the amount up or down as there are multiple factors affecting your cat's energy need. Always make adjustments depending on your kitten's body condition.

The feeding advice is based on a normal energy requirement for your cat. The body condition of your kitten is the guidance to the actual feeding amount. When needed, you can give more or less in order to keep your cat in optimal condition. It is advised to divide the daily amount of food in two servings or more, preferebly in any type of slow-feeder to encourage them to eat smaller amounts each serving. Be sure you provide your cat unlimited access to fresh water.
